Massage Practitioner Certificate Program Intensive
16th Annual Program Starting Fall 2008

Join us on this unique journey for women only. A dedicated all-woman faculty supports you through a 5-1/2 week program designed to give you an opportunity to learn, share, give, and receive the gift of safe touch in a circle of women. During the course, you will learn:

• A relaxing and wellness-oriented full-body massage using a blend of approaches including sweeping strokes, deep pressure, and range of motion stretches.
• A wellness-oriented introduction to basic human anatomy and physiology.
• Aspects of proper biomechanics to increase endurance, minimize stress, strain and fatigue, and to avoid injury and overuse.
• About career and vocational opportunities, effective ways to communicate, networking, referrals, self-care and prevention of burnout.
